The Market Research Manager is a key member of the organization's Market Intelligence team.

This opportunity will be driving research efforts to support sales, marketing and strategic initiatives, by identifying and tracking market opportunities, product and solution positioning, customer experience, brand awareness, as well as on-going competitive intelligence.

The ideal candidate will lead complex primary research efforts involving sophisticated sampling plans and research designs, including but not limited to pricing and product feature trade off studies.

Highly visible role that will interact with all levels of leadership in the company.


  • Help enhance existing offerings, by assessing gaps in market needs, and exploring potential product adjacency for further monetization opportunities
  • Help identify and assess growth opportunities in a mature market
  • Segment and size different product markets
  • Develop and maintain in-depth competitive landscape profile for each current and emerging product and market segment
  • Lead complex and sophisticated primary and secondary research to generate insights on the industry, existing and emerging competitors, as well as market and product technology trends
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to derive actionable, insightful recommendations
  • Manage key company initiatives, including but not limited to the annual customer experience and awareness tracking surveys
  • Manage key vendor relationships, including but not limited to KLAS and the Advisory Board
  • Liaise with MI peers supporting other parts of the business for opportunities crossing care settings
  • Participate in gathering competitive intelligence efforts at key tradeshows
  • Execute on MI initiatives and projects as directed


  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Business, Economics or a quantitative Social Science discipline)
  • Master’s Degree (Marketing, Business, Economics or a quantitative Social Science discipline) a PLUS
  • 7 plus years of previous work experience in market research/intelligence positions, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical or a related industry
  • 3 plus years of experience leading complex primary and secondary research projects, ideally including international scope
  • Demonstrable experience tracking competitive landscape
